Conventional v unconventional Trump
Take the Poll
Q1: Donald Trump has completed his cabinet nominations. Senators of both parties seem open to picks like Marco Rubio for State, Lori Chavez-DeRemer for Labor, and Scott Bessent for Treasury. Rubio has supported bi-partisan legislation in the Senate, Chavez-DeRemer is backed by unions including the Teamsters, and Bessent is a highly regarded financier who worked for George Soros.

On the other hand, Pete Hegseth at Defense, Robert F Kennedy Jr in Health, Tulsi Gabbard at Intelligence, and Matt Gaetz at Justice have been more controversial. Hegseth has said women should not serve combat roles, RFK Jr has questioned the efficacy of childhood vaccines, Gabbard has espoused views sympathetic to Syrian president Assad and Russian president Putin, and Gaetz, dropped out after pressure over his alleged drug use and sex trafficking of underage women.

Overall, do you approve of Trump's picks for his cabinet?

Q2: We polled Trump's approval at 47% a week after his re election, this was up from 42% in the final two years of his first term.

Do you think Trump would become more or less popular overall if he tacked toward more conventional picks and policies, and would you like to see him become more conventional?

Q3: Assuming Senator Rubio is confirmed as Secretary of State, Governor Ron DeSantis (R, FL) will choose his replacement. Reports say Trump is pressuring DeSantis to name his daughter-in-law and current RNC co-chair Lara Trump as his replacement.

Do you think Lara Trump will be given Rubio's Senate seat?
