Q2.

Some believe the US would have had to deal with Iran militarily sooner or later, given the Islamic Republic's nuclear and regional ambitions, and doing so now was better than waiting.

Others say that while a military approach was warranted, the military approach enacted by the US was poorly conceived.

Still others believe a military approach was not the way to go because it would never lead to the outcomes the US desires — a non nuclear, non-antagonistic Iran.

Which best fits your view regarding US military intervention in Iran?

Q3.

On April 7, a two-week cease fire was announced, and extended indefinitely April 21.

By most accounts, there has not been much in the way of peace negotiations between the two countries since then, though reports Wednesday said there could be meetings next week, causing the US stock market to rally 1.5%.

Since March 1, Iran has blocked ships from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. On April 13 the US reciprocated with a blockade of Iranian ports and coastline in an attempt to get Iran to lift their blockade. Both sides are still blockading.

At this point in time, do you think President Trump is holding out for a deal that achieves US aims, or more interested in a quick face-saving exit?
