Q1. In late January, just prior to when the US started moving military assets to the Middle East in preparation for a potential attack on Iran, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading at $65/barrel and the average price of gas in the US was $2.90/gallon.
As of this writing, oil is $95/barrel, and the average price of gas is $3.70. The rising prices are the result of attacks by Israel on certain components of Iran's oil infrastructure, attacks by Iran on the oil infrastructure of its Gulf neighbors, and Iranian threats to oil shipping in the Gulf.

Q2. Kharg Island is 5 miles long and 3 miles wide, located in the Persian Gulf, about 16 miles off the coast of Iran. It is crucial to that country's economy, storing and loading 90% of their oil exports.
On Friday the US bombed Kharg, saying it struck military targets including mine and missile storage sites, but deliberately avoided hitting oil sites so as not to cause further oil price hikes.
What do you think the US should do with regard to Kharg? (Note: virtually all of Iran's oil exports go to China, and account for 8% of China's daily oil usage)

Q3. Late last week, the Trump administration said it would temporarily remove sanctions on Russian oil already at sea. Under the relief, which is scheduled to last until April 11, sanctions to be lifted include restrictions on western insurance and other services on Russian oil sold above $60/barrel, and a 25% US tariff on India for purchasing Russian oil.
Supporters of lifting sanctions say it is necessary to relieve oil price pressure. Opponents, including leaders of several European countries, say it will enhance Russia's ability wage its war in Ukraine.
How long would you like to see Russian oil sanctions lifted, if at all?
