Q1. The US Treasury department intervened in currency markets last week to support the Argentine Peso, which had begun to go into freefall. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent posted "Argentina faces a moment of acute illiquidity," and bought at least $20b worth of Pesos while indicating more could be forthcoming.
Argentine President Javier Milei is a conservative reformer, perhaps best known in the US as a Trump ally who gifted Elon Musk the chainsaw Musk wielded at a conference to illustrate what he would do to government headcount.
Since taking office in 2023, Milei has attempted to shrink Argentine government spending, and improve business prospects by cutting regulations. But inflation, while lower, is still 30% and it's unclear if Milei's reforms will provide economic stability, leading to the recent run on its currency.
Proponents of the bailout argue it is important to support Argentina's currency lest instability spread in the region. Opponents say it's Trump bailing out a political ally, or Bessent bailing out his former hedge fund colleagues.
Do you support this bailout?

Q2. American soybean farmers are harvesting a bumper crop, fueling a glut that is driving down prices. That, combined with impacts of the tariff war — an 80% reduction in Chinese purchases of US soybeans v last year, and increased costs on imported fertilizer and equipment, have combined to cause the average soybean farmer to lose about $100/acre in 2025.
President Trump is considering a $14b bailout to farmers, on top of existing aid programs. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said "President Trump and Agriculture Secretary Rollins are always in touch about the needs of our farmers, who played a crucial role in the President’s November victory." Trump provided about $110b in additional aid to farmers in his first term.
Generally speaking, do you support the additional money to farmers this year?

Q3. The final phase of President Trump's Middle East peace deal provides for plans to rebuild Gaza, which is home to 2m residents, but was leveled during the two-year Israel-Hamas war.
The UN estimates it will cost $50b to rebuild Gaza (which at 141 sq miles is about the size of Detroit) though other estimates are significantly higher.
Do you support $15b to a Gaza rebuild?
