Q1. On Saturday, the US launched a bombing attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities. Operation Midnight Hammer included seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, four types of fighter jets, refueling planes, and a nuclear submarine.
All told it was 125 aircraft dropping a total of fourteen Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs (aka Bunker Busters) and thirty Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from the submarine. The bombers flew round-trip non-stop from Missouri over the course of 37 hours.
Saturday night, President Trump said "Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated." The IAEA (UN nuclear watchdog) said "Given the explosive payload...very significant damage is expected to have occurred, but no one is in a position to fully assess the underground damage."
