Q1. It is a federal crime to pay someone to try to induce them to vote or to register to vote.
In light of this law, do you think it would be legal for someone to offer $100 to people who sign a petition, but only to people who are registered to vote? And whether you think it's legal or not, do you think it should be legal?

Elon Musk's super PAC is offering $100 to verified registered voters in PA to fill out a petition declaring their support for the constitutional rights to free speech and firearms.
In May, federal judge in NY ruled the state’s century-old ban against offering food or water to people waiting in line to vote is unconstitutional. Petitioners against the ruling argued the law violated the right to free expression. GA adopted a law banning water distribution in 2021.
