Q1. At the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony on Friday, boats carrying athletes floated down the Seine past tableaus of live art orchestrated by French artistic director Thomas Jolly.

One scene involved LGBTQ performers arrayed around a table in front of the Greek god of wine, Dionysus. Rumor has it the scene was meant to mock Christianity as a parody of DaVinci's "The Last Supper." Others disagreed, saying it was based on Brueghel's "Feast of the Gods."

Below are images of each painting, and of the opening ceremony. Which do you think was the inspiration for the performance? If neither Supper, nor Feast, select opening ceremony. Click images to enlarge.

Q2. On Friday, railways around France were subject to coordinated attacks, with perpetrators setting fire to high speed rail systems ahead of the start of the Paris Olympics.

Rumor has it, Russia was behind the sabotage, though on Monday, French authorities arrested an ultra-left activist at a railway site. How likely do you think Friday's attacks were done by Russia?

Q3. From a Forbes article: "Anti-sex” bed rumors: The Olympic Village will feature small twin beds made with cardboard frames and recycled fishing net mattresses, a move some news outlets and ex-athletes claimed was an “anti-sex” feature made to collapse under the weight of more than one person—but organizers denied this claim, saying the material was used to reduce the Games’ environmental impact by making the bed frames recyclable."

How likely do you think it is that the the beds were meant to be "anti-sex"?
