Q1. Last Thursday, Silicon Valley venture capitalists David Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya co-hosted a fundraiser for former President Trump. Tickets cost between $50k and $500k per person.
It was one of what is expected to be several Silicon Valley fundraisers for Trump. In April, Sacks and Elon Musk co-hosted an "anti-Joe Biden" fundraiser, attended by founders of several large tech companies including PayPal and Uber. Sacks said "After Biden’s disastrous presidency, Trump has a lot of supporters in Silicon Valley; many are just afraid to admit it. But with each act of courage, like this one, the dam begins to break."
Do you think Trump will get more support from Silicon Valley than he did in previous elections, and if that were to be the case, what would be the impact?
