Q2. In Chicago there is a statue of Ulysses S. Grant in Lincoln Park, and one of Abraham Lincoln in Grant Park. Jaume Plensa, the creator of Water's Soul, says the statue asks viewers to "keep silent...to listen to the profound noise of the water talking to us."
Press release for Water's Soul According to Wikipedia, "A sculpture that represents persons or animals in full figure but that is small enough to lift and carry is a statuette or figurine, whilst one more than twice life-size is a colossal statue." And the Statue of Liberty is the largest free-standing statue in the US, followed by Pegasus and Dragon at Gulfstream Racetrack in Florida. Our Lady of the Rockies is 3rd, Golden Driller 5th, Hiawatha 17th, Jolly Green Giant 19th.
